Frank Baum and illustrated by W. Denslow, originally published by the George M. Hill Company in Chicago on May 17, 1900. It has since been reprinted on numerous occasions. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, known in Japan as Oz no Mah. In Japan, the series aired on TV Tokyo from 1986 to 1987.
